Terms and conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to weekly safaris and tours offered in all seasons by the Arctic Adventure Wolf Trail.

Booking:

The reservation received is considered to be confirmed upon the payment confirmation.  

Prices and services:

The prices and services offered are indicated in the program descriptions for each program, service or circuit. The prices shown were shown for VAT in accordance with Finnish tax laws and taxes. We reserve the right to change prices in the event of an unforeseen increase in costs each year and during the same season.

Changes:

We reserve the right to change a safari date or time, or to cancel a safari or service in the event of bad weather, unavailability or any other problem.

In the event of cancellation on our part, we will reimburse you in full.

Cancellation policy:

For cancellation requests, please send us an email as soon as possible; late cancellations, already paid on the "Visit Rovaniemi" site or any other service provider, are not reimbursed.

The refund policy in the event of cancellation is indicated at the bottom of your reservation sheet.

Pregnant women:

For your own safety and the safety of your unborn child, we do not accept pregnant women for dog sled safaris.

Child :

We no longer accept children under 3 years old.

Children are more exposed to the cold than adults; we therefore recommend that you equip your children accordingly ; in case of extreme cold, we advise you to change the reservation date (if availability); Arctic Adventure Wolf Trail reserves the right to modify the itinerary and duration of all excursions if necessary depending on prevailing weather and snow conditions or if this is deemed desirable for the safety and comfort of participants and animals.

Photos and videos:

We reserve the right to use any photograph or video taken during visits or programs organized without written or oral authorization.

We do not allow copying of our photos for commercial or other purposes.

Language :

We speak French, English and Finnish

Liability insurance :

Arctic Adventure Wolf Trail has general liability insurance for bodily injury and property damage in accordance with the general conditions of the Pohjola vakuutus oy group.

Motor vehicle liability insurance: Pohjola vakuutus oy

according to the law in finland, we have a valid taxi license.

Responsability of the costumer :

Arctic Adventure Wolf Trail is not responsible for an accident that was caused by slight negligence or by the negligence of the customers. The customer is responsible for all damage caused by his equipment, his children, or his animals, to Arctic Adventure Wolf Trail or to any third party. The client is under contract to follow the instructions given by Arctic Adventure Wolf Trail concerning, the program, the animals, the equipment before, during and after the safari. The client is responsible for respecting the program schedule. If the customer neglects this obligation, Arctic Adventure Wolf Trail has the right to charge the costs caused by the negligence.

Citizens of the EU, EEA and Switzerland, holders of a European health insurance card, are entitled to medical services in Finland when they visit here, which will be provided in accordance with Finnish law.

The Consumer agrees to indemnify and release Arctic Adventure Wolf Trail, from all liability for any indirect loss and any cost resulting from any act or omission by negligence or any violation of the General Conditions.

Other injuries :

Arctic Adventure Wolf Trail can only be held liable for bodily injury or property damage resulting from accidents occurring during the provision of the services offered and which are caused by the negligence of Arctic Adventure Wolf Trail.

Arctic Adventure Wolf Trail is not responsible for accidental damage or injury which must be compensated under the customer's travel insurance. Personal travel insurance is always strongly recommended.

Arctic Adventure Wolf Trail is not responsible for any loss, injury or damage, direct, indirect or consequential, resulting from incidents or accidents during transfers, except to the extent that such loss, injury or damage is caused by intention or by gross negligence. Personal travel insurance is therefore highly recommended.

Husky safaris :

The husky safaris can be physically demanding and participants can be exposed to different types of physical constraints. In the event of a medical problem, you must consult a medical expert on your ability to participate in the safari and activity to offer. If the customer suffers from an illness or handicap of this nature, he acknowledges that he participates in the service at his own risk.

Our dogs are kept and housed in accordance with Finnish legislation in force and animal welfare standards.

Animal behavior can never be fully predicted and, therefore, in order to reduce risks, safety precautions and other instructions should be followed and your children watched.

Before each safari, Arctic Adventure Wolf Trail will give you explanations in order to best drive the sleds; the guide is a professional guide.

We decide whether or not you can drive a sled, depending on your age, your physical condition, your attendance at driving explanations and your compliance with the rules; we reserve the right to decide at any time your ability to drive the sled for a simple breach of the driving rules (for example if you let go of the sled or do not brake enough) in this case, a guide will drive the sled to your place and you can sit in the sleigh. Our goal is the safety of our customers and our dogs.

These terms and conditions are governed and interpreted in accordance with Finnish law.
